About Patty Beard

Patty Beard is a results-focused, energetic executive who excels in driving results through relationship building, collaboration, inspiration and accountability. As a leadership development coach and consultant, master facilitator and certified change management practitioner, Patty has served as a trusted advisor and partner to leaders around the globe.

She brings corporate experience at the executive level in HR and Operations roles working with notable companies like General Electric and DICK’S Sporting Goods. Patty’s internal organizational experience includes leading global hybrid teams, coaching leaders at all levels including C-suite and board-level, facilitating leadership development programs domestically and internationally, and developing and implementing change management strategies for enterprise-wide initiatives including eight (8) mergers and acquisitions. Additionally, she is experienced in assessing organizational and team cultures, and creating and implementing strategies to shift cultures to become more collaborative, accountable and results oriented.

Patty’s consulting experiences include working with Fortune 500 companies and not-for-profit organizations coaching leaders, facilitating development programs, advising on change management strategies, and facilitating strategic business planning sessions. Patty has developed and coached leaders in every function and organizational level, and in most known industry sectors.

Patty follows a holistic approach in her work with others. She focuses on both the WHO and the HOW in her coaching and leadership development, separating “mindset” from “skillset” to identify root cause issues and possible solutions. Patty is an expert in human behavior helping her clients build self-awareness which she believes is the most important leadership quality in business today.

With self-awareness at the foundation of her partnership with her clients, Patty has significant experience helping clients develop in several key areas, including but not limited to developing emotional intelligence, enhancing communication skills, improving strategic thinking and planning skills, generating powerful networks, creating an impactful leadership brand and executive presence, identifying and shifting team culture, and driving change and transformation in teams and organizations. She especially enjoys partnering with her clients to create breakthrough techniques to “embrace the uncertainty” that continues to be an even more pressing variable in every role, team, and organization.

Patty holds a Master Certified Coach credential with the International Coach Federation. She is also a Board-Certified Coach (BCC), a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), a SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SCP), and a PROSCI Certified Change Practitioner. She also holds certifications in the GE Change Acceleration Process (CAP) and is a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Patty uses multiple assessment tools in her work including Hogan Leadership Insights, Hogan 360, PROFILOR 360, Saville Assessments, DISC assessments, and LEAD NOW! assessments.

Patty loves bird watching, gardening, cooking, and traveling with her family. She and her husband, Bill, live in Northeast Ohio.
