His career with IBM began after graduating from college to attend the prestigious IBM sales school. After law school, he led a national sales team for a technology start-up, that later went public, specializing in the use of computer animation in the courtroom. He served as a regional sales director for a computer-based learning company that was later acquired by an Australian Company, and for the last 15 years held various roles, including those with P&L responsibility and sales and marketing leadership, in the payor environment.
He is passionate about the communities in which he lives, currently serving on the Midwest Regional Affiliate Board of the American Heart Association, including the Corporate Operations and Marketing & Communications committees, and formerly serving on the Boards of the Salvation Army and JDRF. He supports the local business community as a member of the Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce Foundation Board and is a frequent speaker and advisor on the virtues of establishing professional relationships, networking, personal branding, and life-long learning.
Scott graduated from UW-Madison with a degree in Political Science and obtained his law degree from the University of Illinois – Chicago John Marshall Law School.
