Lee Johnsen is a proven expert in the fields of organizational development, leadership coaching, and virtual team building. Lee has a 30-year record of successfully guiding organizations to increases in productivity and leadership improvement. He specializes in helping global and virtual teams navigate the challenges and opportunities of working in a virtual world.

Lee has the international distinction of being one of only a few individuals certified by three international human resources organizations—Association for Talent Development (ATD), International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI), and Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). He is a published author of several articles and co-authored the book Real World Teambuilding Strategies That Work (Insight Publishing). In January of 2018, Lee published his book, Literally Virtually: Making Virtual Teams Work.

A results-oriented professional, Lee has worked with clients from industries including oil and gas, financial services, government, third-party logistics, private education, health care, insurance, and nonprofits. In 2014, he spent five months developing young leaders in Saudi Arabia. Lee’s areas of expertise encompass executive coaching, strategic planning, leadership and management development training, employee engagement, and emotional intelligence. His career has included officer and management positions in Fortune 500 corporations as well as government agencies.

Lee is rated as one of the top facilitators of leadership training for the American Management Association (AMA). He has designed and developed numerous training courses for their leadership curriculum and has delivered sessions to a wide range of business professionals.
