Joe is an Executive Consultant & Coach with considerable experience advising business leaders through dynamic workforce changes.

He has over 25 years of experience and expertise in the areas of Organization Strategy and Design, Leadership Assessment and Succession Planning, Hi-Potential Coaching and Development Planning, and Change Management. While working across a variety of industries, he has particular functional experience in global manufacturing, retail, and financial services.

Joe’s engineer’s mindset differentiates him from other consultants and coaches. He approaches things pragmatically and stays focused on “the problems that need fixing” in simple ways. He brings in behavioral concepts as needed, but does not let theory get in the way of practical solutions. Some describe him as a business optimizer with a knack for the people side of transformation.

When coaching, Joe helps leaders reflect on personal behaviors as well as the broader group dynamics and the organization structure impacting them. This holistic perspective yields more effective development plans and often helps engage others in the behavioral change process.

In addition to his consulting experience, Joe has over 10 years of corporate HR experience leading Talent and Organization Development teams for large and international companies. Joe has restructured HR to be more strategic and effective by revamping core practices such as performance management, succession planning, executive development, coaching, and workforce planning.

In addition to consulting, Joe speaks at large conferences on the subject of human capital and teaches periodically at Marquette University and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Joe has a Bachelor of Business Science in Industrial Engineering, with an emphasis on Human Factors, from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. He is married with two children and lives in Milwaukee.
