Gay is able to develop business growth strategies that leverage specialized technical capabilities across diverse operating groups, and customers. She is particularly successful developing strategies when multiple organizational structures exist, often with their own competing and overlapping technical capabilities. Her experiences in operations and delivery, as well as leading a horizontal organization of solution architects, allow her to provide a rich perspective of how to plan and execute measurable business growth while maximizing technical capabilities across the enterprise.

Gay has over 30 years of progressive technical and management experience providing Federal, DoD and State & Local customers outstanding IT systems, and services competitively captured and won on agency and GWAC/MAC type contracts. Gay is a proven accountable operations manager who has delivered predictable annual growth, great teams, highest quality performance, and full customer satisfaction. Portfolios have included annual revenues $100M including the DoD, Health Affairs, Veterans Affairs, Health and Human Services and Center for Disease Control. One of Gay’s strengths is her ability to establish high trust and confidence with customers by carefully assessing their needs and pain points and providing focused follow through ensuring delivery of quality solutions addressing their unique needs.

Before becoming a consultant, Gay established a new organization, Technical Solutions Group (TSG), reporting directly to the CEO of a mid-tier Government Contractor Services organization. She served on the Senior Leadership Team, to increase business growth leveraging the full breadth of the corporation’s capabilities and expertise. Accomplishments included the establishment of the following programs and tools: Technical Fellows; Technical Communities; Playbooks; Past Performance Research Tools; ENnovation Centers; Differentiated Capability Investments (IDEAs); and the annual Internal Tradeshow.

Gay received her Bachelor of Science in Organizational Psychology from George Mason University and completed numerous graduate Computer Science courses at the George Washington University, School of Engineering. She also maintains her Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Gay has lived in the Washington, DC area most of her life and currently lives in Burke, VA with her husband and rescue pup, Skeetar. She has two grown sons and enjoys playing golf and walking her dog every day.
