Don’Angelo Bivens, MS, PCC is a certified executive coach, speaker and leadership facilitator that has assisted thousands of leaders—from business owners and entrepreneurs to directors and CEOs—to achieve uncommon results. He works with high-performing individuals across geographic regions including North America, Europe, and Australia.

For nearly 20 years, Don’Angelo has served as a talent leader, an external consultant, coach, speaker and leadership facilitator to Fortune 500, billion-dollar quasi-governmental and middle market organizations, such as Yum Brands, Mars, Banfield, Zendesk, e-Securitel, and BP Oil. With expertise in organizational psychology and coaching, he has a profound understanding of the thoughts and conversations that drive human behavior and our innate ability to produce results that are of great importance to them. His work requires that leaders and organizations reexamine the conversations that have driven their performance and recalibrate their mindset and actions to be aligned with their aspirations.

Don’Angelo’s style is direct, and truthful. But rather than being didactic, he creates partnerships with leaders through vulnerability and agreements, not expectations. His clients have referred to him as fierce, “a shorter version of Tony Robbins,” straight-forward and compassionate. He has a reputation as a trusted partner and is known for challenging leaders to stretch themselves and those around them in ways that are truly unexpected.

Don’Angelo’s unique background coupled with his experience and commitment to creating rare results makes him ideal to coach and consult with high-performers that are dedicated to a higher purpose. His formal training in personal development began at Tuskegee University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. He continued to study leader development at Missouri State University where he received his Master of Science degree in industrial/organizational psychology. At Missouri, he created the term “leader affect”—the study of how leaders’ non-verbal cues impact individual’s and team’s performance. Don’Angelo currently serves on the board of the National Association of African-Americans in Human Resources – Milwaukee. He is a former adjunct lecturer at the City University of New York, where he taught human resources.

Don’Angelo is originally from Milwaukee and has lived in 7 major metropolitan cities, and Barbados, spent 11 years in Manhattan, New York, before returning to Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
