Chris is an executive business development consultant and orals coach with extensive experience winning work across a wide variety of service lines. This adaptability has been the hallmark of his 15+ years in business development and is borne from a background delivering all aspects of the Business Development lifecycle.

When supporting organizations and leading pursuit teams, Chris remains focused on three key objectives – building solutions that offer differentiated strategies to meet client’s major objectives, communicating these objectives clearly and effectively to all stakeholders, and creating an atmosphere where working through these challenging problems is enjoyable for everyone. By remaining laser-focused on the ultimate objective, which is winning the work, Chris is able to create an environment where people are working together towards a common goal.

Before becoming a consultant and orals coach, Chris led efforts for and won over $5B worth of business across a number of customers, including DoS, DHS, DOJ, NASA, NOAA, and multiple DoD components. With projects that have covered much of the world, Chris has worked overseas in the Middle East and Europe.

With a background as an English teacher before entering Government contracting, Chris has a passion for words and communication. He spends the majority of his free time reading and learning about behavior economics – Thinking, Fast and Slow is a personal favorite – and the intersection between behavioral dynamics and events throughout history.

Chris has a Bachelor of Arts in Language and Literature from the University of Virginia and graduate studies in Global Security from Johns Hopkins University. He currently lives with his wife and daughter, and their rescue dog, in Northern Virginia.
