Sharon Confessore is an innovative health care leader and strategist and a skilled coach and thought partner to executives, clinical leaders, and clinicians. Her varied career in both healthcare and academia allows her to leverage her passion for learning to challenge leaders to think differently, see new possibilities and then act to create results. Her favorite experiences involve combining evidence-based data and robust dialogue to collectively create solutions that are different, practical, and effective. She partners with leaders to identify their strengths and leverage the power of learning to gain greater self-awareness and identify opportunities for growth.

Sharon has extensive experience in physician leadership development. In addition to coaching physician leaders, she created a corporate-wide physician leadership strategy for two multi-state healthcare systems and implemented programs and experiences for physician leaders at all levels of the organizations, including CMOs and high potential early career physicians. Over 200 physicians have completed programs in change leadership, team effectiveness, the business of healthcare and executive presence that she designed and implemented.

Sharon’s professional experience includes Chief Learning Officer and Associate Professor. She has co-authored a book on self-directed learning and authored numerous articles and delivered numerous presentations. Her most recent work has focused on resilience and helping executives rebuild teams post pandemic.
