Half of the workshop will focus on building out the components of your career plan to determine what you want to do next, why you want to do it, and how you will get there.
Personal branding and managing your individual reputation is a critical component of managing your career. A branding toolkit will be reviewed including the use of an internal resume, LinkedIn profile, and conversational technique.
A four-step networking method will be implemented starting with meeting people, initiating a follow-up, nurturing contacts over time, and developing them into long-term, valuable relationships. Your network is how you are supported in your career and a vital step to this process.
Tips and strategies will be reviewed so a plan can be developed when the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities or a new role surfaces.
